I was entirely responsible for the development and launch of the Residenza La Magnolia website, overseeing both the design and the structure. This included creating a welcoming and easy-to-navigate digital environment tailored to the needs of elderly guests, as well as clearly presenting the values, services, and philosophy of the foundation.

Residenza La Magnolia, established by Fondazione Aletti Beccalli Mosca Onlus, is a nonprofit protected residence located in Castronno (Varese). The residence offers 23 mini-apartments for seniors over 65 who maintain a fair degree of autonomy but require a secure, supportive, and community-oriented setting. The foundation’s mission is to “take care” of frail elderly people who cannot be assisted at home, improving their well-being and quality of life through efficient and attentive daily support in a family-like atmosphere.

The primary goals of the website were to:

• Enhance Accessibility: Make information about the residence, its location, and services easily accessible to seniors and their families, including those with reduced digital skills.

• Promote Autonomy and Quality of Life: Communicate the importance of preserving autonomy and encouraging social relationships in a protected environment.

• Facilitate Contact and Admissions: Enable users to easily find contact details, understand admission processes, and discover how to become part of the Residenza La Magnolia community.

• Showcase Unique Strengths: Highlight the residence’s warm, natural setting, professional staff, and proximity to transportation options like the nearby train station.

The website serves as an essential channel for presenting the foundation’s values and for guiding elderly individuals and their families in choosing a safe, caring, and socially vibrant place to live.
